Share PDF
If you need to share your PDF files with others, UPDF for Windows allows you to send your PDF Files to other people through a link, QR code, or email. In this guide, we will show you how to share a PDF in these three ways using UPDF for Windows. You can also watch the video guide below.
1. Share the PDF file via a link
Sharing a PDF via a link removes size restrictions, which is especially helpful when attaching files to emails. When creating a shareable link, you can configure settings such as disabling copy, download, or print options, setting an expiration time, and enabling unshare. Once configured, click 'Create' to generate the link.
When the recipient receives the link, they can open the PDF in their browser in guest mode, with an option to view it in UPDF. You can unshare the PDF at any time.
2. Send PDF by Email
The share with others feature means you can share the link of the PDF with others by email. You can also select Disable Copy/Download/Print, Expiration Time, and Unshare File here. But you have to know that when the first time you share the link with others by email, you have to create the link of the PDF first. When you finish the setting, tap the Send icon to send the email.
Then your email window will be opened automatically and you can enter the email address and send the PDF file as an attachment.
3. Share PDF by QR Code
There is also an option to generate a QR code under the 'Share a link' tab. With this, you can create a QR code for the PDF file, download the image, and share it with others. The recipient can simply scan the QR code to open the PDF. This method is especially convenient when the recipient is using a mobile device.
