Removing blank pages from PDF is an unavoidable task when processing PDF files. Deleting a few blank pages from a single PDF is something most people can do, and online tools like iLovePDF can easily help if you don't want to delete them manually.
However, what if we're dealing with sensitive files that are inconvenient to upload online? Or what if we have a bunch of PDF files that need to have blank pages checked and deleted? Things become complicated.
UPDF is definitely the all-in-one PDF management tool you'll love and need. It offers local protection for sensitive data and doesn't have the document size limitations of online tools (Max File Size: 100MB, Max File Count: 100). Most importantly, it eliminates the need for manual checking of blank pages; AI helps us check for blank pages in documents with a single click and provides a one-click deletion function.

The first way is removing blank pages with deleting button directly.

- Once you are in the Organize Pages mode, find and select blank pages you would like to remove. If there's multiple pages, you can select all of them by holding Ctrl or Command key and clicking.
- Once the pages are selected, remove them by clicking the Trash bin icon at the top or by pressing the Backspace button on your keybord.

Way 2. Replacing Blank Pages
If you would like to delete the blank page and replace with some other content, you can also do it in the Organize Pages mode.
- Click on the "Replace" icon. Now, choose the file you would like to replace it with and click "Open".

- Now, Select "Custom" for the page range in Original and Source part, enter the page number of the blank page in the Original file part, then, enter the page number you need to use in the Source file to replace the blank page. Once done, click on the "Replace" icon.

- Your blank page is replaced successfully. You can save the changes by clicking "File" > "Save".
3. Remove Blank Pages for Free in PDF Via Print
You can also use the Print feature to save the pages you need as a new PDF to remove blank pages. However, this method only works well when your blank pages are at the beginning or the end of the PDF file. The best part of this method is that it is free to use.
- Open your PDF in UPDF and go to File > Print.
- Now, a settings menu will open, allowing you to adjust the parameters for printing, and remove any pages you do not wish to print.
- Select the "Microsoft Print to PDF" as the printer, enter the pages to print. Here, as the blank page is the first page, I enter 2-15 to print. Click "Print" to print your PDF without any blank pages.
