UPDF and Superace trademarks and other brand elements are valuable intellectual property owned by Superace Software Technology Co., Ltd. (“Superace”). These guidelines explain how to correctly use our trademarks, logos, and brand features to protect their integrity and avoid misuse or confusion.

1. Ownership and Legal Protection

  • UPDF and Superace are registered trademarks of Superace and are protected under trademark, copyright, and other applicable intellectual property laws worldwide.
  • All goodwill generated by the use of these trademarks belongs to Superace.
  • Unauthorized use of these trademarks may result in legal action.

2. General Principles for Trademark Use

You may refer to UPDF or Superace trademarks only to:

  • Accurately describe or reference UPDF or Superace products and services.
  • Demonstrate compatibility or integration with UPDF products (e.g., “Plugin for UPDF”).
  • Provide factual information in reviews, tutorials, or educational content.

Prohibited uses include:

  • Using UPDF or Superace trademarks in company, product, or service names.
  • Implying endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership without written consent.
  • Associating the trademarks with illegal, defamatory, or inappropriate content.
  • Altering, abbreviating, or modifying the trademarks or logos.

3. How to Use the Trademarks Correctly

  • Always use UPDF and Superace in capitalized form and exactly as registered.
  • Trademarks should be used as adjectives, followed by a generic term:
    • ✅ Correct: “Edit PDFs using UPDF software.”
    • ❌ Incorrect: “I UPDFed the document.”
  • Do not use the trademarks as nouns, verbs, plurals, or possessives.
  • Trademarks should never be more prominent than your own brand in any materials.
  • Use the appropriate trademark symbol (® or ™) and include the following attribution: “UPDF and Superace are registered trademarks of Superace Software Technology Co., Ltd.”

4. Logos and Brand Visuals

  • All UPDF and Superace logos are proprietary.
  • You may only use logos with explicit, written consent from Superace.
  • Logos may not be altered, recolored, or combined with other graphics or branding elements.

5. Special Rules for Partners and Developers

  • Authorized partners, resellers, or developers must follow both these guidelines and any specific requirements outlined in their agreements.
  • Any claim of compatibility with UPDF products must be truthful and verifiable.
  • Use phrases like “for use with,” “compatible with,” or “plugin for UPDF” to indicate compatibility.

6. Enforcement and Reporting

  • Superace reserves the right to revise these guidelines at any time.
  • If requested, you must provide samples of materials showing your use of the trademarks for compliance review.
  • Unauthorized use must be ceased immediately.
  • If you become aware of misuse by others, report it to [email protected].
