- The UPDF app (version, date of activation, successful and unsuccessful updates) when the app is used.
- Your sign-in account information (when required before you can use the product, whether using the desktop app or online tools).
- Your usage of UPDF online tools, including activity details (for providing the service and improving performance).
c. UPDF acting on your behalf
In certain instances, UPDF is acting only on your behalf for personal information collected and processed by our services (for example, for the address book contacts shared by users when entering recipient information). In such cases, UPDF is acting only on your instructions in order to facilitate the service requested by you, and you will be responsible for the information shared. In these instances, we will inform you through in-app notifications or other in-time communications.

For the types of processing that are needed to provide the Services, we rely on the necessity of our processing of your information for the performance of the Services as a legal ground to collect and use your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. UPDF uses data provided through the use of our Sites, Software, and Services to provide services for which UPDF was engaged. The data may be used for a variety of functions, including:

- Collaboration and Sharing: UPDF offers collaboration features built into the Site and Apps which allow you to share documents (read-only or full edit capabilities) with others you explicitly choose. Collaboration and sharing allow others to view the content of the document you choose to share in addition to the activity data pertaining to the shared document (views, edits, etc.). You can set permissions and revoke access through your UPDF account. If you share a document with another party, that party can download the document as long as they have access to it. Additionally, you may choose to create a public link and send that link to others. If you create a public link, anyone with that link can access in read-only mode and download it.

We employ advanced security measures to ensure that your personal data and documents remain protected. Rest assured, your data will not be shared with third parties without your prior consent.
2.5 Storage of Personal Information
We store your personal data only as long as you maintain an account and use our services. If you choose to delete your account, all associated personal information will be permanently removed from our system without exception.

Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with any other data provided by Google. The IP addresses are anonymized, so that an assignment is not possible.

b. Google AdWords Conversion Tracking
To statistically record the use of our website and to optimize and evaluate it, this website also uses the Google Conversion Tracking tool (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google")). Here, Google AdWords sets a cookie on your computer if you have reached our website via a Google advertisement. After 30 days these cookies lose their validity and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the website of the AdWords customer and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.
Each AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. 3. UPDF AI Assistant
The features you are about to try are in UPDF AI and require you to accept the following terms and conditions. Availability, content, pricing, and other aspects of these features may be subject to change in future releases.
You may provide input to be processed by UPDF Al Assistant ("Input") and receive the output generated and returned by the UPDF Al Assistant based on the Input ("Output"). Input and Output are your Content or Customer Data, as applicable. You will ensure that your Input and use of the Assistant will not violate any applicable law. You are solely responsible for developing, operating, maintaining, and using your Content and Customer Data.
By using the service of UPDF AI, you agree that your PDF file will be automatically and securely uploaded to the UPDF Cloud, enabling our AI technology to effectively analyze your document.
While we strive to provide the best results possible the Output obtained from UPDF Al Assistant may be inaccurate, harmful, or biased depending on the subject and quality of the input data. UPDF AI uses some of the technology provided by OpenAl, LLC ("OpenAl") and strictly adheres to OpenAI's policies. You may not use UPDF Al Assistant in a manner that violates any OpenAl Policy, including their Content Policy; Sharing and Publication Policy; and Community Guidelines.
The results provided by UPDF AI are generated by AI technology. While we strive to provide accurate and reliable results, it's important to understand that we cannot take responsibility for the content or any errors that may occur by using AI.
4. UPDF Cloud
Cloud Storage: User-uploaded documents will be stored in data centers located in the user's respective regions, such as US data centers, European data centers, etc., and will not be stored in other regions.
File Transfer Security: User files are securely transmitted using SSL/TLS-based HTTPS encryption during the transmission process, ensuring a secure transfer.
5. Enterprise Users
For enterprise users, we can support encrypted storage of files on the server to ensure the security of file storage.
If enterprises do not require UPDF Cloud and AI functionalities, we can provide a version without cloud and AI.
